The loudest person in your group chat has never once been wrong, because nobody kept score.

The day this one settles itself

Post the call, put a date on it, and let anyone in the world take the other side.

Saying it is free, which is why people say so much. On Omenn the call is public the moment you make it, strangers can back you or fade you with real money, and the date decides. You cannot edit it, delete it, backdate it, or be the one who rules on it. Your record follows you whether it is good or not.

Posted by @mina, record 26 and 15. Backed $820, faded $420. Settles 24 May 2026.

Same hash, so the call never moved. The $820 side split $1,215 and @mina went to 27 and 15.

What you give up by posting one

This is what makes it worth betting against

Edit the call
The wording is hashed when you post it. Change one character and the hash changes, and the old one is already written. A call that quietly becomes a better call after the money arrives is the thing this exists to stop.
Delete the call
There is no delete. Not for you, not for support, not for us. The misses sit next to the hits, because a record with the bad ones taken out is worth nothing to the person deciding whether to fade you.
Backdate it
The timestamp comes from the block your call landed in, not from your machine. You cannot claim on Friday that you knew on Monday, and nobody has to take your word for when you said it.
Settle it yourself
You do not get to rule on your own call, and neither do we. Resolution runs off the source you named when you posted, and a human only gets involved when that source is genuinely unclear. The person with money on the outcome is never the person deciding it.

Posting one takes about twenty seconds

You can post without staking a cent of your own

  1. Write the call in one sentenceIt has to be clearly true or clearly false later. "Arsenal finish top two" works. "Arsenal look good" does not, and nobody can price it anyway.
  2. Pick the date and the source that decidesThe date is part of the call, so a soft one is its own kind of answer. Naming the source up front is what stops the argument later.
  3. Post itThe hash and the date go on chain for about a cent. Anyone can now back you or fade you, and the two sides sit against each other with no house taking a position.
  4. Watch the room price youThe split between backed and faded is a live opinion on whether you are right, next to a record of every call you have made. Being faded heavily is its own kind of information.
  5. It settles on the dateThe winning side splits the pot less a 2 percent resolution fee, and your record moves in whichever direction it moves.
$OMENN Resolution rights

Most calls settle themselves off the source the caller named. Some do not: the source contradicts itself, the event half happened, the wording turned out to cover two things. Those go to holders, who are drawn at random, rule on the outcome, and are paid from the 2 percent resolution fee. A ruling overturned on appeal costs the ruler their stake in it. With real money on every call this is the job the whole thing rests on, which is why it is a job you can be bad at and not a discount on anything.
